Heraeus Contact Materials Switzerland AG (HCMS) was founded in 1947 as “Dr. Müller & Akermann“ and started in 1959 with the production of bonding wires, furtheron well known as „Müller Feindraht AG“ (1982).
In 1995, Kulicke & Soffa took over the operations. Since October 2008 HCMS is part of the Heraeus Contact Materials Division, presenting the program of bonding wires made from gold, aluminium, copper and special metals.
