Al-H11, ALW-49P

Al-H11, ALW-49P wires consist of high purity aluminum with selected addition elements homogeneously distributed in defined concentrations. The wires fulfil the increasing requirements made on the reliability of bonded connections in automobile and power electronics.
Special features:
  • Defined softness
  • Excellent loop stability
  • Outstanding bonding properties

Al-H11 CR

Al-H11 CR wires consist of high purity aluminum with selected addition elements homogeneously distributed in defined concentrations. The corrosion resistant Al-H11 CR wire fulfils the increasing requirements made on the reliability of bonded connections in automobile and power electronics.
Special features:
  • Modified softening behavior at increased temperatures
  • Problem-free bonding behavior
  • Corrosion resistant

Al-R, Al-R CR and Al-RR

Pure and ultra-pure aluminum wires are specially suitable for the contacting of semiconductor components for high power ratings. The specified, high material purities and the smooth, clean wire surfaces result in good bondability. This material displays a high degree of corrosion resistance due to its special doping. These wires are used for preference with a diameter > 100 µm.

Al 0.5%Mg

Due to the alloying addition of magnesium, the wire achieves more favourable fatigue strength properties for special applications. It is used principally in power components with wire diameters > 100 µm but wire diameters < 100 µm can also be manufactured. This material is specially suitable for the latest development in ball/wedge bonding of Al thick wires.
