Due to the complexity of surface mount applications and semiconductor packaging, it was important for Heraeus to establish a group of specialists, focused on supporting our customer base with application support and process development. The application laboratory centers of CMD-AM have the ability to offer a wide range of services for optimizing the production processes by using numerous testing, process and inspection equipment.
The scope of activities include the simulation of a variety of production conditions, the analysis and optimization of new technologies and the application of standard inspection and supplemental testing of Heraeus products for quality and reliability.
Another key capability in the application technology group is the analytical lab. Various spectrographic analysis are central to determining root cause failure analysis of both product and process.
Whatever the requirements of our customers are, Heraeus has the knowledge, equipment, and analytical capabilities to support customers, whether the application is main line production or a new cutting edge process.
